93% of the world's population over the age of 45 suffers from presbyopia, a condition that causes a loss of the focus of the lens inside the eye resulting in near point blur. Today, this condition is treated with multi-focal lenses, and some experimental surgical procedures, such as scleral ablation and scleral expansion, are starting to emerge.
ReFocus is in the early stage of researching and developing a proprietary technology for reversing presbyopia. ReFocus provides a non-surgical, medical treatment to reverse the affects of presbyopia. ReFocus addresses the source of the problem instead of simply treating the symptoms. At the same time, ReFocus provides a doctor friendly, patient friendly, painless procedure.
ReFocus was invented and brought to The Egg Factory by an outside source.

four patent applications.

The total annual crop value in the United States is approximately $108 billion, and in 1997 there was $6.5 billion worth of crop loss. Worldwide, in 1997, it is estimated there was $2.5 billion worth of crop loss directly related to cold, frost and freezing temperatures.
AgroShield is in the early stage of researching and developing a proprietary polymer technology that could protect against crop loss due to cold, frost and freezing temperatures. AgroShield is a biodegradable and non-toxic proprietary coating that when applied on crops releases heat as it freezes. In addition, it is believed that the AgroShield's technology may allow for earlier planting and harvesting, thus expanding the planting and harvesting season.

Every year on average there is $2 - $3 billion worth of damage due to hurricanes just in the United States alone. This figure does not reflect the loss of life and human misery that also results from many hurricanes.
2.75°c is in the early stages of researching and developing an environmentally friendly proprietary hurricane mitigation system that, if successfully developed, may be able to reduce the severity of a hurricane. For example, the 2.75°c hurricane mitigation system may be able to reduce a category 5 hurricane down to a category 2 hurricane or a category 3 hurricane down to a category 1 hurricane. Hurricane reduction would be achieved by cooling the surface and sub-surface temperature of the ocean, which is what fuels the intensity of a hurricane. Also, by not completely eliminating hurricanes this technology could allow hurricanes to continue performing their natural function of transferring energy while substantially reducing or eliminating the collateral damage they cause.
The potential benefits of this technology are enormous. The hurricane reduction technology could be able to save lives, save property and reduce the damages that insurance companies have to cover.

According to the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT), motor vehicle accidents are the leading cause of death among Americans ages 1 to 34 years old and cost society over $150 billion annually. Further, the USDOT states that in 1998 there were 6.3 million reported crashes in which 41,471 people died and 3.2 million people were injured. Various estimates indicate that approximately 20% of all vehicle accidents are caused by blind spot related problems.
Active Mirrors, LLC is developing a proprietary technology that may eliminate the blind spot problem on both the driver and passenger side of vehicles through the use of electro-active specialty mirrors. Utilizing eVisions proprietary electro-active technology, Active Mirrors can be made to switch between a standard planar reflection state and a de-magnifying reflection state to provide a wider field of view.
Active Mirrors target market includes the 211 million existing buses, trucks and automobiles in the United States, as well as the 17 million new motor vehicles sold each year.

People, across all age groups, are concerned with improving and/or maintaining their current state of health and fitness. However, government studies indicate that most people do not obtain the recommended levels of nutritional supplements from a regular daily diet. As a result, more and more people are turning to dietary supplements in the form of multi-vitamins and single letter vitamins to supplement their diet, yet the current dietary supplement system simply provides generic solutions despite individual needs.
Vita-Mine, LLC is developing an innovative approach to vitamins and nutritional supplements. Vita-Mine will enable consumers to significantly enhance the health benefits derived from nutritional supplements.

Air fresheners are intended to mask foul odors or establish pleasant aromas in homes, automobiles and other buildings, yet most air fresheners emit a strong scent that weakens each day of the products use. In addition, using only visual advertisements for scented products decreases the effectiveness of the ad. In fact, marketing statistics show that 81% of consumers would choose a product that they could both see and smell in an ad over one that they could just see.
Scent-A-Peel, LLC is developing a proprietary technology that is a new, more effective method for containing and releasing scented products. Scent-A-Peel provides an air freshener that can be mounted to any surface and that does not quickly lose its scent; it is as potent the last day as it was the first. Further, Scent-A-Peel provides a much more effective means of communication, allowing consumers the ability to smell products in stores.
Scent-A-Peel has applications in the $2.5 billion U.S. air freshener market and the $23 billion U.S. advertising market for scented products.

Current
automotive floor mats are intended to protect automobiles
from dirt and moisture from shoes.
However, these automotive floor mats require
consumers to regularly vacuum or shake off the floor mats.
Further, much of the debris intended to stay on the
floor mat ends up beside or below the floor mat, which
defeats the purpose of protecting the automobile.
AutoMat
provides consumers with a novel way of keeping their
automobile environments cleaner by doing a more complete job
of removing dirt, moisture and other debris from shoes.
By utilizing AutoMat’s patented technology,
consumers will spend considerably less time and effort
cleaning out the inside of their cars.
The
primary target market for Auto Mat would be the
approximately 131 million private and commercial automobiles
and the approximately 81 million private and commercial
trucks in the United States.
In addition, a market upside includes the
approximately 17 million new cars and trucks sold in the
